American Communities Project
American Communities Project
The American Communities Project works to better understand the different worlds that people in the U.S. call their home — using demographic, cultural, socioeconomic, and political information to identify 15 different types of community at the county level. Driven by the Michigan State University School of Journalism, this project combines social science and journalism to gain insight into diverse perspectives and experiences across communities based on election results, economic information, consumer surveys, and more. Explore the results to better understand your community's subtleties and complexities.
